Jay Hooper – President, Artistry of STEM

Jay Hooper is the President of Artistry of STEM, a nonprofit dedicated to inspiring and empowering communities through science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. A proud U.S. Navy Veteran, Jay served as an Aviation Electronics Technician, where he developed a foundation in technical excellence and discipline.

He went on to earn a degree in Business Administration, combining his technical expertise with strong leadership and management skills. Jay has held several impactful roles, including serving as Loop Electronics and Fiber Splicing Supervisor at Verizon, and later as CEO of IBIG TECH LLC, a fiber splicing company he successfully led and grew. He currently works as a Fiber Engineering Technician, applying his technical knowledge to strengthen national infrastructure.

Throughout his career, Jay has been guided by a passion for innovation and mentorship. He firmly believes that early and meaningful exposure to STEM can change the trajectory of the future for individuals and entire communities. His mission with Artistry of STEM is to open doors, spark curiosity, and create opportunities for the next generation of thinkers, builders, and leaders.

Vice President – Artistry of STEM

Jade Hooper is a graduate of Old Dominion University, where she earned her degree in Civil Engineering with a minor in Modeling and Simulation Engineering. She is currently a Water Engineer at a multinational engineering firm, where she contributes to impactful projects that shape communities.

As Vice President of Artistry of STEM, Jade is committed to igniting the next generation of innovators by fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment. She leverages the AOS platform to expand her reach, share her knowledge, and inspire future leaders in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Mrs. April Williams – Chief Financial Officer

April Williams serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Artistry of STEM, bringing her strong financial expertise and passion for youth development to the organization. Holding a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, April has built an esteemed career in finance while also pursuing her entrepreneurial journey as CEO of April’s Joy, a business specializing in gourmet cakes and desserts.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, April is a devoted wife and mother who actively supports her community. As the wife of a youth pastor, she partners with her husband to coordinate impactful activities and events that uplift and inspire young people.

With her unique combination of financial leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, and dedication to the next generation, April is an invaluable asset to the success and growth of Artistry of STEM.
